KING COUNTY, Wash. — Two people were injured Wednesday night after a motorcycle struck a guardrail on State Route 410 near milepost 36 just east of Enumclaw in King County.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the 2013 Harley-Davidson FLTRX was traveling westbound on SR 410 just east of milepost 36 when the motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve and struck the guardrail.
The motorcycle came to rest on the right shoulder. According to WSP, the roadway remained blocked for about one hour and seven minutes.

The crash injured the driver, John W. Leighton, 47, of Buckley, and passenger Julie R. Spillane, 39, of Marysville. Crews transported both to Harborview Medical Center.
Both were wearing USDOT-compliant helmets, according to the report.
Lynn’s Towing towed the totaled motorcycle from the scene in Greenwater.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation. The report states that alcohol or drugs played no role.
