KENT, Wash. — A 29-year-old Renton woman was injured early Monday morning when the SUV she was riding in left northbound State Route 167 and rolled onto its side, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The crash happened at about 1:30 a.m. Sept. 21 in the northbound lanes of SR 167, also known as the Valley Freeway, near 212th Street in Kent.

The 1998 GMC Yukon was traveling in the second lane of the three-lane highway when the driver lost control, WSP reported.
The SUV began to sideslip into the left lane before leaving the roadway over the right shoulder. It then traveled up an embankment and rolled onto its side.
The Yukon came to rest facing southbound on the right shoulder.
Passenger Transported to Hospital
The passenger, a 29-year-old Renton woman, suffered injuries and was transported to Valley Medical Center.
WSP reported that the passenger was not wearing a seat belt.
The driver, 32-year-old Rafael Isabell of Tacoma, was not injured. WSP also reported that Isabell was not wearing a seat belt.
DUI Investigation
WSP suspects drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash.
Isabell faces charges of DUI and vehicular assault, according to the WSP report.
The Yukon sustained reportable damage and was removed from the scene.
No other vehicles were involved, and WSP reported no deaths.
