BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A roadway incident temporarily blocked traffic Monday on Guide-Meridian just north of Kellogg Road in Bellingham, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

The incident first appeared in reports about two hours before the scene cleared shortly before 10 a.m. A later update clarified the closure affected northbound lanes only, though the situation continued to impact traffic in the area.
By early afternoon WSDOT reported the scene had cleared and traffic was moving again. Officials have not released details about the cause of the incident or whether any injuries occurred. No further information was immediately available.

Couple things here. It was a structure fire this morning in an abandoned building south of Arby’s that caused the shut down on guide meridian at mile post one. On the other hand do you have any update on the bicyclist that was involved I. The accident on northbound interstate five just south of Bellingham last week.
