RENTON, Wash. — Seahawks fans will get their first behind-the-scenes look at the defending Super Bowl champions one week earlier than expected.
The Seattle Seahawks announced Tuesday that “Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Seattle Seahawks” will premiere Aug. 4 on HBO Max. HBO and NFL Films previously scheduled the debut for Aug. 11.

Seahawks Make Their ‘Hard Knocks’ Debut
The five-episode series will follow Seattle through training camp as the team prepares to defend its Super Bowl title. It marks the Seahawks’ first appearance on the original training camp edition of “Hard Knocks.”
Cameras will capture practices, roster battles and decisions from inside the Virginia Mason Athletic Center in Renton. The series will also follow head coach Mike Macdonald and several of the team’s biggest names.
Quarterback Sam Darnold, wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba and defensive standouts Devon Witherspoon and Byron Murphy II are among the players expected to receive attention.
How to Watch the Seahawks on ‘Hard Knocks’
The series will debut Tuesday, Aug. 4, at 9 p.m. PT/ET on HBO and HBO Max. Subsequent episodes will air on Tuesday nights.
The new date moves the premiere forward by seven days. HBO and NFL Films had announced the original Aug. 11 date when they revealed Seattle as the featured team March 31.
