BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Bellis Fair Mall will host a carnival starting Thursday, bringing three days of rides, games and classic fair food to Bellingham. Ahead of opening day, carnival operator Rainier Amusements is also holding a Facebook giveaway for a family four-pack of unlimited ride wristbands.
The carnival runs July 9 through July 11 in the Bellis Fair parking lot near Macy’s at Bellis Fair, offering attractions for all ages, midway games and traditional carnival food.
According to Rainier Amusements, one winner will receive four unlimited ride wristbands valid any day of the carnival. Each wristband includes unlimited rides and two games.
According to the giveaway rules, entrants must like the giveaway post, follow the Rainier Amusements Facebook page and tag three friends they would bring to the carnival. Each additional comment tagging three different friends counts as another entry. The company said it will announce the winner Thursday, July 9.
Rainier Amusements also warned participants about scammers, saying winners will only be contacted through its official Facebook page and that it will never request credit card information or ask winners to click a link to claim the prize.
Three Days on the Midway
The carnival opens Thursday and Friday from 3 to 10 p.m. Saturday hours are noon to 10 p.m.
Unlimited ride wristbands cost $35 on Thursday and Friday and $40 on Saturday. Each wristband includes unlimited rides and two games.
Guests who do not purchase a wristband can buy individual ride tickets for 50 cents each. Attractions require between two and 12 tickets depending on the ride.
Rides for Every Age
The midway features a mix of thrill rides, family attractions and children’s rides.
Thrill rides include the Pirate Ship, Shockwave, Loop, Ali Baba and Rave.
Family attractions include bumper cars, the Rainier Wheel, Puppy Roll, Cobra Coaster, Super Slide and Surf Shack.
Younger visitors can enjoy Flying Saucers, Wiggle Worm, Toon Town and Crazy Plane.
The carnival is located in the Bellis Fair parking lot near Macy’s at 1 Bellis Fair Parkway in Bellingham and runs through Saturday evening.
