BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A 43-year-old woman remains in custody Monday following an attempted murder booking connected to an incident near Lakeway Drive and Yew Street in Bellingham over the weekend.
According to jail and booking records, Brenda Doreen Wilder-Brown was booked into the Whatcom County Jail at 11:48 p.m. May 16 on a charge of attempted first-degree murder.
The booking originated with the Bellingham Police Department, with Whatcom County Jail records listing the charge as “Murder 1st-Attempted” with no bail allowed.
As of 12:32 p.m. Monday, May 18, Wilder-Brown remained in custody at the Whatcom County Jail.
PNW Daily has requested additional information from Bellingham Police regarding the circumstances of the incident, including more details on any injuries to victims.
According to reporting from the Cascadia Daily News, there were multiple victims in an apparent stabbing incident.
