The 5th annual Seattle All-Star Classic celebrity softball game hits Cheney Stadium in Tacoma on July 11. Shaheed and Nwosu host. Pre-sale tickets open May 26.
TACOMA, Wash. — The Seattle All-Star Classic returns to Cheney Stadium on July 11 for its fifth annual celebrity softball game and home run derby. Current Seattle Seahawks players Rashid Shaheed and Uchenna Nwosu will host the event.
The showcase will again bring together athletes, entertainers and community leaders for a summer event in Tacoma.
Seahawks Players Already Confirmed
“Anytime you can use your platform to bring people together and support the community, it’s meaningful,” Nwosu said. “I’m proud to help host this year and be part of something bigger than the game.”
The event launched in 2022. Since then, organizers have featured athletes and entertainers including DK Metcalf, Geno Smith, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Lil Mosey and former Seahawks safety Jordan Babineaux.
“I’ve heard a lot about the energy around this event, and I’m ready to experience it firsthand,” Shaheed said. “It’s going to be a fun, competitive matchup, and I’m looking forward to getting out there and putting on a show for the fans.”
The 2026 lineup already includes Seahawks rookie tight end Elijah Arroyo and linebacker Tyrice Knight. Organizers plan to announce more participants in the coming weeks.
Seattle knows what it means to show up and win, and that same energy carries into the Seattle All-Star Classic.
