WHATCOM COUNTY BOOKING REPORT
Week of April 14 to 20, 2026
By BRIAN HENDERSON · April 21, 2026 · PNW Daily
BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Whatcom County authorities, working in coordination with federal partners, continue to pursue a range of criminal cases alongside routine daily arrests.
This week, one of the most significant cases tied to recent booking activity involves a California man accused in a multi-victim fraud and theft scheme exceeding $1 million in reported losses. Investigators say the operation targeted Washington residents through deceptive links and coercive financial instructions, leading to multiple victims and a major financial loss, including one case approaching $800,000. The suspect is currently held on $500,000 bail and is scheduled for trial later this summer.
Alongside major case activity, local agencies continue to process a steady volume of arrests across DUI, traffic, and municipal violations as part of the region’s daily booking cycle.
The following report covers physical bookings at the Whatcom County Jail between April 14 and April 20, 2026. All charges are allegations. Courts must determine guilt. Booking data comes from public Whatcom County Jail records. Home detention check-ins and DOC transfers are excluded.
