Federal officials report multiple ICE arrests across western Washington, with Border Patrol assisting in operations tied to suspects with prior criminal histories.
BELLINGHAM, Wash. — U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Blaine Sector assisted ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations in three arrests across western Washington between March 13 and March 17, according to federal officials.
The arrests occurred near Tacoma, White Center and Bremerton and involved individuals with prior criminal arrests, according to Chief Patrol Agent Rosario Pete Flores.
Arrests Spanned Three Western Washington Locations
Agents arrested Severiano Martinez-Basquez on March 13 near Tacoma. Authorities said he has multiple prior arrests for burglary and assault and is being processed for removal proceedings.
On March 15, agents arrested Domingo Gonzalez-Acosta near White Center. Officials said he has a prior DUI arrest and is being processed for removal proceedings.
The March 17 arrest involved Jorge Zapata Perez near Bremerton. Authorities said he has prior arrests for attempted arson and rape and is currently in custody pending removal proceedings.
