A Blaine teenager missing since Jan. 7 has been found safe, her family confirmed. Relatives thanked the public for helping share the alert.
BLAINE, Wash. — A 17-year-old girl who had been missing in Whatcom County since Jan. 7 has been found safe, her family confirmed Saturday morning.
“She has been found and is safe,” her aunt, Sonya Ann Goss, told PNW Daily. “That is the only information I can give. Thank you for posting and helping.”
Destany Delane Gray went missing earlier this month in the Blaine area, according to her family, who previously asked for the public’s help locating her. Relatives had said she left with a family pickup truck, and authorities were investigating the case.
Family members previously told PNW Daily that police had classified Gray as a runaway.
No additional details about where Gray was found or the circumstances surrounding her return were released.
PNW Daily would like to thank everyone in the community for sharing her information.
