WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — Search crews are asking for the public’s help as they search for a missing Canadian hiker who disappeared in the mountains east of Bellingham.

The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office said 34-year-old Gursimran Singh, who also goes by Randhawa, was expected to return to British Columbia three days ago but never arrived.
Investigators believe Singh’s last known location was South Twin Peak in the Mount Baker foothills. Deputies located his vehicle along Middle Fork Road, prompting an active search of the surrounding backcountry.

The search includes members of Bellingham Mountain Rescue and Whatcom County Search & Rescue 4×4 units. Crews continue searching rugged terrain around the South Twin area.
Authorities are asking anyone who may have seen Singh or has information about his whereabouts to call 911 immediately.
No additional details about his planned hiking route or when he was last seen have been released.
Public Asked to Watch for Missing Hiker
Search officials say even small pieces of information could help locate Singh.
Anyone who visited the South Twin area or traveled on Middle Fork Road in recent days is encouraged to contact law enforcement if they believe they may have seen him.
