About the Founder and Editor-in-chief

Brian Henderson is an experienced journalist, storyteller, and digital content creator with a career spanning three decades of local, state, and freelance reporting. He developed and launched several successful brands in the Pacific Northwest including 105.7 The Hawk in Yakima, PNW Perks in Bellingham, covered PAC 12 sports at Fox Sports Eugene, reported for Capitol Network News at the Oklahoma State Capitol working for the legendary Darwin Maxey, and more. With a background in media, radio, and digital storytelling, Brian combines on-the-ground reporting with engaging content to inform, entertain, and connect viewers to the Pacific Northwest.

Brian has five daughters and moved to Whatcom County in February 2022 with his twins to serve as Production and Creative Services Director at Cascade Radio Group. There he developed the new PNW Media Group brand, helped launch My Bellingham Now as the new home of KGMI radio, PNW Perks and created much of the graphics you see their brands use today.

You might recognize him from Bellingham’s own Yeager’s Sporting Goods where he worked weekends for many years in the fishing department, sharing his love for the outdoors with eager new anglers and seasoned fishermen.

At PNW Daily, Brian and his team are committed to bringing the unfiltered stories of the region to life, blending news, entertainment, and local culture into one dynamic platform.
