Family members say Destany Delane Gray was last seen in the Blaine area and may be driving a brown Ford F-150.
BLAINE, Wash. — A 17-year-old girl is missing in Whatcom County, and her family is pleading for the public’s help to bring her home.
****UPDATE: Family reported early Saturday morning that she was found overnight, Jan 17, 2026.
Destany Delane Gray was last seen on January 7 in the Blaine area, according to her family, who spoke with PNW Daily. Relatives say she left with a family pickup truck. Authorities are investigating, and the family says police consider her a runaway.
“We just want her home safe,” a family member told PNW Daily on Saturday evening.
Description
Gray attends Blaine High School. She stands about 5-foot-8 and has dark brown hair and blue eyes.
She may be traveling in a brown 2018 Ford F-150 with Washington license plate DO5468E, her family said.
What You Should Do
Family members and law enforcement urge the public not to approach Gray or the vehicle if they spot her. They worry she may attempt to flee.
Instead, anyone with information about her location should contact law enforcement immediately by calling 911.
“If anyone has seen her or knows where she is, please contact authorities,” a family member said.
The family added that Gray has friends in Ferndale and Lynden.
This is a developing story. PNW Daily will update it as more information becomes available.
