WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — Authorities have issued an endangered missing person alert for a man last seen Wednesday morning in Birch Bay, according to the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office.

Eric Armstrong, 27, was last seen boarding a Whatcom Transportation Authority bus at about 8 a.m. on Feb. 18, 2026, while traveling toward Bellingham.
“Eric may be unable to return without assistance,” the alert said. “This disappearance poses a credible threat to Eric’s health and safety as determined by the investigating agency. Please call 911 if you have any information.”
Description
Armstrong is described as:
- 6 feet tall
- 217 pounds
- Brown hair and brown eyes
He was last seen wearing all black clothing and a black cross.
What to Do
Anyone who sees Armstrong or has information about his whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
The Washington State Patrol activated the alert on behalf of the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office.
