BLAINE, Wash. — Federal officers in Blaine arrested a female Canadian citizen with an active warrant for abduction according to a Feb. 10 social media post from the DFO Seattle Field Office.
Authorities said the woman also had a criminal history that includes using forged documents and multiple theft offenses. Officers took the individual into custody and transported them to a detention facility for further processing.
The agency did not release the person’s name, details about the warrant, or the circumstances that led to the arrest.
It one of many arrests that day in the are and it remains unclear whether the arrest is connected to enforcement activity observed later that evening near Lincoln Park in Blaine.
PNW Daily livestreamed an arrest near Lincoln Park on Feb. 10. During that broadcast, agents detained an individual in what appeared to be a targeted enforcement action. Federal authorities have not confirmed whether the two incidents were related.
